BRINGING THIS BACK

Plan on ordering some 1/4-6an 45degree fittings soon for my 4L60E that will be swaped over to my 4L80E in about 3-4 months hopefully.
I have looked and they are both 1/4 but the ports are straight, not tapered?

I was only able to screw the 1/4 in only a small bit?? How much do you guys actually screw the 1/4npt fitting into the tranny case, and how much Teflon do you guys use??

I am also in the process of running some -6 line for my tranny cooler. The fittings in the above post are 1/4-18. I thought the proper size was 1/4-20 for a 4L60E? Am I wrong?
