Is it common for the torque arm to break the trans case in a rear end crash?

Is it common for the torque arm to break the trans case in a rear end crash?

Hey guys,
Im building a little car and Im looking for crashed donors. Im just wondering if the torque arms are known to break the transmission case if the rear end gets hit. If not, a rear hit is what I will look for (need engine, trans etc).
Thanks.

It could happen but not always. The rear hit would have to be hard enough to involve the actual rearend housing.
