Please forgive my ignorance, I just bought a 2001 SS and just wondering about some numbers or code numbers on my door jam. It has SLP add ons and I'm not sure what the code numbers mean. It has a WU8 on the spec sheet and Gu6 I'm told it's gear ratio and SLP code #. I've been told many different things so I came hear to find out what it means, ( A friend of mine said the best information is found here). Thanks!

 

WU8 = SS package

GU6 = 3.42 rear axle
