Clutches

I was reading about the spec stage 3 and the McLeod Twin Disc clutches. People are saying you need a new slave Cylinder with any new clutche but on the Mcleod do you need to buy there Adjustable Master Cylinder. What one would be better for a daily driver and week end track car. I want somthing that I will not have any problems with it.

Thank You Sean

Re: Clutches

I'm running the McLeod ST with an adjustable master cylinder. Very streetable clutch. McLeod gets their increased holding force by doubling the surface area of clutch material (2 clutch disks). Spec gets increased clamping force by using more exotic materials which can cause the clutch to be "grabby" and give you clutch chatter when releasing the clutch in first or reverse.
