Clutch slave, need help fast!
Ok, my slave cylinder has this zip tie type thing on it holding down the rod. Should I take this off or leave it on? sorry if I dont have enough detail, cant really think of what else to say about it.

yea if it's new take it off!!! there should be a lil nylon cap that stay's on though

isnt that the strap that ur supposed to leave on, and let it snap on its own when u first use the clutch?

Idk I just went ahead and cut it off. But left the tip on, so far it all works fine.

You don't cut that....it breaks on the first use of the clutch. If you cut it you run a risk of ruining the slave. Says right on it not to cut it.
