Clutch question

I'm looking at a few different clutch set ups. I was just wondering about the master cyl that mcleod offers. Is this necessary and if not what is the reason I should order it with the clutch? It's for a 00 LS1 if it matters. Thanks for any info.

Re: Clutch question

the MC is adjustable...allowing you to adjust where in the pedal travel the clutch engages and disengages...catering to your personal feel. and as the clutch wears down i guess you can adjust for that too.

not a necessity...but alot of people claim it really helps.

i put a SPEC 4 in my car with the stock MC with no issues.

Re: Clutch question

Thanks for the info. I was also looking at the spec 3 and 4 as well. Huge price difference compared to mcleod. I'm having a hard time commiting to spending the extra coin for the mcleod.
