clutch question

I think i broke my clutch, I was wondering if there is a plug that I can open up that shows if there are any broken parts visible so that i don't have to take it completely out to find out.

On the bottom, engine side of the bellhousing, there is a thin metal inspection cover that goes around the starter. If you are underneath the car, looking towards the rear, look at the starter and you should see the shield. Its held on by 4 (I think) little bolts. That will allow you to see the bottom back of the flywheel. If anything is broken, it will have fallen down there. Basically though, your clutch should be alright as long as its not slipping and there's no strange noises when you engage/disengage the clutch. HTH
