Clutch Problems?

This is the second time this has happened in about a two month span. I was driving to work today and was stopped at a light. Right as I started to let the clutch out, it popped out of first with a loud bang. I pushed the clutch back in, and it went right back into first with no problem. Now my questiong is, does anyone think that I just might have gotten lazy and not put it all the way into first? Or is my clutch or syncros going bad?

Thanks for any help.

That's typically a sign of a bad synchro in the trans, not a clutch.

There's a few other things that can cause that but all are trans and/or shifter related.

Thanks for the info Mike_InMT. I'll have to check my synchros this weekend.
