well, i just had the same damn problem, except for some reason when it happened, my pedal wouldnt go down at all! i wonder what the hell could have caused that? im not going to put it back together until i figure out why the pedal wouldnt go down...

you can see where it was rubbing the inside and outside ring on the PP...and the little pile of shivings on the clutch fork...

here is a pic of the spot where it binded the motor i guess...
