Clutch pedal soft, What's the problem?

When I got in the car to go to work this morning. I couldn't get into reverse, the shifter just wouldn't go. So I pump the clutch to align the gears. That's when I noticed the clutch pedal was stuck on the floor boards. This has happened once before. With some playing, then pulling it up with my foot, it was okay. But the pedal feels real light. I also think the clutch is disengaging earlier than I remember. But this is considering the entire life of the car. The clutch itself seems to be working fine. No slipping that I can tell. But the force to push in the clutch pedal seems awfully light

Perhaps it's a slave cylinder or simply a return spring. But if anyone has experienced this or knows what this means please let me know.

Thanks in advance

Year and model in Sig.
