clutch not fully releasing?

I have an 01 Firehawk and when I get on it and go through the gears, it seems like the clutch has not fully released? The pedal is up all the way? It has done that since it was new and I have 24000 on it now Thanks Normal driving is OK

Re: clutch not fully releasing?

This tip is actually for Muncies, but it should work for any trans with a non-synchro Reverse. Let it run in neutral, step on the clutch and count to 10, then put it in reverse. If the clutch releases completely, it won't crunch. If you hear a crunch, you may have a clutch release problem.
