Re: clutch install tips

When separating the trans from the bellhousing, look for a pry point mid way up on either side of the trans. Mine was siezed up too tight to come loose by shaking it like many online guides suggest, so we had to resort to prying. 5 minutes later the transmission was on the ground. Also, do not remove the clutch fork, just pull it out radially from the clutch, some online guides say to take out the bolt, but that is completely unneccessary.

Re: clutch install tips

Be sure to have the clutch fork in hand pulled back from the shaft. When I took mine out I wasn't paying attention and got the whole thing hung up. Needless to say it took a lot of wasted time to get it out. If you do get stuck and your fork is pulled forward you'll have to undo the bolt on the fork little by little.
