clutch install

how long does it take to install a clutch. i have to have it done (no access to a lift) what can i expect to spend? is it a hard job?

You can do it on jack stands, I have done a z28 and a TA both took about 2-3 hours if you have everything there. I like to thoroughly inspect things though so it might take less time. Be sure to get your flywheel resurfaced!

Im right in the middle of the install and trying top drop the trans.. there is this drivers side bolt that is giving me hell ,, cauz its right on the fire wall rachet wont work .. wrench wont work ... getting kinda despart..

I had my tranny droped in 45min and that was while F'ing with the long clutch fork bolt before I found out you could just pull it back. Its not hard, do it yourself. You will save some money.
