clutch for bolt on/sprayed LT1
clutch for bolt on/sprayed LT1
well since my header install the car definielty has more in it and now it just overpowers the clutch and slips during hard shifts. im thinking about spraying during the future if that makes much of a difference. It has 97k on it right now with mods in sig. i know clutches have so many mixed feelings, so its almost impossible to search. think i should look into Spec stage 3 or 2 or centerforce or what. i also have the MUCH cheaper option of getting new pads put on the disc but idk how much better it will be or longer it will last.
Re: clutch for bolt on/sprayed LT1
yea that one is supposed to be really nice, but JEEZ is it a lot of cash.lol, my dads trying to persaude me to go to the place he got his clutch at. its near chicago, called Naylor Friction Specialists. i might see what they can set me up with with a little bit stiffer/harder clutch cover and a good disc. it was only around 180 for my dads complete setup on his 69, but thats a different style. maybe ill talk to them sometime and see what they think. in the meantime any other oppinions. what about Ram clutches?
