Clutch

Hi guys. I drive a 96 Camaro with the 3800 and M5. The car has just over 133,000 miles and still has the original clutch, as far as I can tell. Recently, the clutch began to slip. When driving down the road I can hear this whining/grinding sound coming from the front of the car (it's not bad, but it is noticeable). I had the brake pads replaced a month ago and had the mechanic check the wheel bearings and U-joints, which turned out to be fine. Does the clutch make a certain noise when it begins to go, or could this be something else? Any input would be appreciated.

Good point. Good wat to tell is, Press the Clutch in and rev it. If the noise is effected by the engine speed then it could be the T/O bearing. If its more when your moving then the wheel bearings might be done.
