Centerforce dual friction clutch

I'm doing LE2 heads & cam and I want to know if this clutch will hold. It's a centerforce dual friction. I expect to making 400-420 hp. It has about 12k miles on it. Another problem I have is that the throwout bearing is damaged and I have to replace it. So I figure the cost of a throwout bearing, pilot bearing (why not?) and alignment tool is a good chunk of the cost of a new clutch.

Re: Centerforce dual friction clutch

from my experiance that clutch isnt all that impressive even at stock horespower levels
with maing 400+ hp to the wheels you will deff want something a bit beefier
id go spec stage 4 personally right now i have a stage 3 and its killer but id go one step up if i had to do it again

Re: Centerforce dual friction clutch

Yea, that's pretty much exactly what I was figuring. I don't drag the car... much, so I figured stage 3. It'll be a daily driver during the warm months so the streetability of a stage 4 really worries me.
