It's hard to get the car in and out of gear when it is running. When it is not running it slides in and out easily. Car is VERY hard to get in reverse at all times. I think I jacked something up when I pulled the cap from the hydraulic system. I took the diaphragm out to see the fluid level. I only started having this issue after. Think I need to bleed it?

I don't think that just taking off the cap to look at your fluid level caused any problems. I had the same problem with mine a few weeks ago. Hard to shift gears when running and it would grind going into reverse. I first tried bleeding the slave and master cylinders, no help. Replaced the slave and master cylinders with a GM unit, no help. Finally pulled the transmission and found that the problem was a destroyed pilot bearing. Good luck.

Definately sounds like a clutch issue but you can damage the transmission if you drive it like that as well .

Found a used LT4 clutch kit... Hoping to find a cheap pilot and throwout bearing.
