basicly what is the difrence in the 2 rears and can any of it be swapped to the new rear?

A local shop said the think all you have to do is use the orginal brake lines with the car

(Putting a Traction controlled rear on my non-TCS car)

the non traction control cars have the ABS sensor on top of the pumpkin, where as the traction control has one on each end of the the axles. I would guess you could use either in your car, but you will lose ABS function for the rear brakes, may even throw a SES, not really sure.

No, because the TCS axle will not have the reluctor gear on the differential carrier, and that's what the sensor on the pumpkin reads in an ABS-only car.

The TCS axle has a reluctor gear on the end of each axle, and a sensor on the backing plate on each side. The number of "pulses" on an end-of-axle reluctor/sensor is different that the pumpkin sensor, because of the huge difference in the diameter of the reluctor gear.
