Yes I've got one on a 460LE.
Here's some pics. I started with a Jegs short torque arm but it was too noisy for me so I modded my stock mount and arm and bolted it to the Jegs floor plate. She ain't pretty but is as quiet as stock and stiffer.

Can you fill me in on what you did for the driveshaft?
Re: Camaro performers 8 speed auto????
If you do a GV with the 4l60e adapter, put the adapter upside down (it will fit) so the speed sensor unit doesn't hit the tunnel and cause fit problems.
With the adaptor upside down the speed sensor unit will be on the bottom.
You need more pinion height using a couple of spacers on the trans mount or you'll get console vibration.
Also if you have or are going to put in longtubes, you'll have to have a custom ypipe made to go around the GV unit.
Short torque arms you can use are Spohn,
BMR Trackpac,
Jegs,
or you could mod the stock arm and mount like I did.
You don't need the electronic controls as manual mode is the best. The 43 mph shift is a bit hard especially under throttle and it interferes with the gear you're in.
