Buying TA rearend girdle, do I need the main cap stud kit?
I was just going to buy a TA rearend girdle, when I saw there was an optional $25 main cap stud kit. I dont want to NOT get it if thats one of the main reasons for getting the TA style girdle in the first place. Let me know if I should pick it up and why, thanks guys--

yea i was going back and forth with it awell when i did my gear install, from what i was readin, the stud kit helped everything stay together longer for people in our weak 7.5" rear ends. i also invested in a solid pinion spacer to help give me rear end a little "insurance" when i haul a$$ in the car
Id say its worth doing, you'll see what a difference these studs make compared to the bolts you are replacing the studs with
And if i remember correctly, you are going with 4:10's right...if so, the Stud kit and TA girlde is well worth getting

Great, thanks for helping me make up my mind. I got the solid spacer the other day and finally talked myself into the girdle the other night. I appreciate it

That helped me out a TON!!! Thunderracing is the first place I found a solid spacer too, this way I dont have to order just the spacer from one place and the other stuff from another!!! THANKS A LOT!!! Also Thunderracing engraves their TA covers with their logo which I think is cool,
