buick roadmaster tranny in lt1

ive came across a buick roadmaster transmission from an lt1 with bout 40k miles on it for a good price. My transmission just went out in my 94 z28. Will this bolt up? It does'nt have to hold up for very long. I'm look for the cheapest way out to have a transmission for about a month or two till i can afford a t56 swap. The transmission is a 4l60e from a 94 roadmaster with an lt1. Anyone know ??

thanks

I don't see why the tranny wouldn't work as far as the bellhousing is concerned. An LT1 is an LT1. I wonder if the X member and things of that nature are the same. I would assume so, but hopefully someone else knows better. Isn't the Roadmaster the same as the Caprice?
