i dont plan on launching hard at the track, i know that will result in a mashed potatoes rear end for sure. but ive heard some say that its possible to break stock 10 bolts with nittos on hard shifts. which i do do on the street and i will obviously be doing at the track. id rather sacrifice a bad launch with crappy street tires and chirp gears than have a somewhat better launch and possibly break something. thougths? thanks

 

I've never had a problem...some break some don't, just the luck of the draw I guess.

 

people have broken 10 bolts backing out of their garages. I had 275 35 zr 18's w/ KDW's and i blew up my 10 bolt and the car only has 54,xxx miles. If they are Nitto 555's and not the 555r, you should be fine. With the 555r's, id be sure to slip the clutch a little more than usual lol...

 

No more power than your making I wouldnt be afraid to launch the **** out of it. You cant be making much more than 300 RWHP.

id say im prolly at around 280 at the wheels. but my clutch is really restricting me right now as are my tires as you can tell by the times in my sig.hehe.

im prolly gonna try dumping it around 1,800 maybe more jsut to get a little jump then stomping it. idk ill have to play around with launcing but i know for sure i wont be doing any serious dumping.lol.

awesome. i go up that way sometimes just to cruise or go up near the chain o lakes i take that way. your areas are pretty nice compared to some of the crap we have.
