brake rotors grinding bad on 12 bolt!

Can't figure this one out. I bought a used 12 bolt from a friend that has less than 100 miles on it. Awesome deal and he had no problems with it. I installed it and my brake rotors are pushed against the inside of the caliper. They just grind on there. There is no spacer installed on the rear end either. I ground down the calipers a bit to stop them from rubbing but they still do a little. Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it???

Is the rear end out of an LS1? they are diff, than LT1's. LS1 axles are longer. Maybe that helps you out.

No, it was out of an lt1. I helped him remove it too. From what I understand now, I should have shims placed behind the rotors to push them away from the caliper a bit.
