I just had some BMRs welded in a couple weeks ago.
I dont like the bolt ons myself but then again some people don,t wanna go permanently attaching things to their car.
If you know you won, t be taking them off again (ever) then I suggest welding them in.

i bought the bolt in brackets for my stock rear. my reasoning for doing this is if i break my rear end, i can sell the bolt in brackets here on the board (they seem to be in high demand) when my stocker breaks im going to up grade to a 12 bolt and then i buy some weld-ins.

Considering the 40$ difference, I see no reason to buy bolt in.

I bought the bolt-in ones and welded them (which the instructions recommend for performance uses). I did mainly because they come powdercoated, weld-in are bare, and I wanted to make sure everything lined up properly. I read about people not getting them welding in perfectly and having the wheels not centered in the wheel wells. I figured it would be a lot easier to line up when it was bolted in.
