it works the same as a welded converter. You have the ability to buy extra internal parts for it to change it's performance right there at the track if you want and your companies tech line is open. My guess is that it's actually economical to be able to do this, especially when dealing with giant power, small tires, iffy track conditions, and even just when dialing in a new max effort car. A good company like Neal Chance can keep helping you with more data sent to them about what the current converter is doing. Cut the shipping time and rebuild timeframe out and You can change it faster than the weather can change(not in Michigan...hehe). I can't say I'm ready for something like that. I don't race at 3-4 day events nor do I have a team to help with trans swaps in between qualifying rounds!!

I'm mainly dialing in a new car.....and paying $1100 for a converter and having to send it back several times is a huge PITA.

I have changed a huge amount since the first converter was speced out and now I am thinking about changine pistons and possibly another head. With 70cfm over what I have now at max lift

It could be beneficial to you. Not sure what you're doing but most people that LOVE them have cars with the ability to change power levels on every pass. Big nitrous and staged turbo setups. Goodluck!

SPecs on the new combo or ban!!!
