Borg Warner T56 (93-97) or Tremec T56 98-up?

 

If I remember correctly, Tremec bought out Borgwarner so pretty much all the GM trannys are now Tremec. But to answer your question, i would stick with the 98+ trannys being thats what came in your car from the factory. Why would you want to change anyway?. Neither of them are better than the other. But to be honest I have heard of less problems out of the 93-97 trannies especially when it comes to the hydraulics.

 

I'm not swapping, my neighbor has a BW and touts his as better than my Tremec. So i'm just gathering info.
