Question best stall for LE2

OK, im looking for a ~3000rpm lockup stall converter. I have seen a few and talked to a place or two. But I want to know who has a LE2 package or equivalent, and what brand/stall speed you use. I will be doing mostly street driving in stop n go traffic. Also which converter has the best STR. hopefully this makes sense my brain is not working right now

I have LE2 package and Edge Racing 9.5" converter with 3000 stall speed, STR=2.42 if i remember well.. but I think that Vigilante is unbeaten in terms of quality.

I know someone that said the same thing, they said that track times the Edge is much better, but driving around it's sloppier and the quality of the workmanship is much worse then the Vig.

Few questions, What is the str of the Vig? at around 3k.. and how much difference in quality/performance is there between the B&M and the Vig?

I would never consider a B&M converter in a 4L60e..

Re: best stall for LE2

Go to www.converter.com and read the truth about STRs...very interesting. I have used a Vig 3600 since 1996 and its a killer piece, uncompromised quality and I got 5 tenths over my 11" LPE converter that came with my package. Call them with your combination and they'll spec you a vig with the appropriate stall...I've dealt with Vicki there and she's been great over the years...They are a little pricey, but you really get what you pay for...
