Bent rod on master cyl

Ok so i put in a new RAM clutch and go to put the clutch in, and it stays on the floor. I manually pull it back up and the pin pops out and is bent all to ****. What causes this? Just a bad MC or what?

Mine was bent too. Don't know what caused it. I just left it alone and it works fine. The reason I left it bent is maybe what caused it was bottoming out in the slave cylinder.

Maybe I should'nt have assumed you were talking about the slave cylinder since you said master.

How much pressure did you put on the pedal to get it all the way down? Either way, you're gonna need a new one. Have fun with that install, no fun at all.
