Ball Joints!

I swapped K-members (v6 to v8) in my 95 and replaced the springs w/ eibach sportlines and new struts. But, how do know if my ball joints are bad? The car has been mostly highway driven until I got it. I must admit that the boots look a little dry, but they rotate well. I'm worried because in the last few days I have flopped them joints around alot. Haven't abused them, but I wanna know how to tell if their bad w/out driving it. And as I really can't afford them at the moment, if I had to I could replace them. Thanks.

with the tire off the ground grab the bottom and the top of the tire and see if you can wiggle it. you'll have to wiggle it pretty hard some times. just make shure not to drop the car on your hand.
