Bad vibration when accelerating

Whenever i accelerate between 2500rpms and 4500rpms the car vibrates really bad. Its the whole car and not just one section either. It is rpm based and has nothing to do with how fast I cam going. No matter what gear i am in, it vibrates between 2500 and 4500. The weird thing is no matter how hard I am accerlerating, it quits after 4500 rpms.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Josh

try checking your transmission mount. kinda sounds like what mine was doing right before it completely went. now every time i do anything other than baby the gas pedal it feels like the tranny's coming through the floorboard. it's the 2nd time in about 8 months that i've had to replace the freaking thing.

You might think about checking to see if your driveshaft is balance correctly, I know some guys that had that same problem.

Re: Bad vibration when accelerating

I know its not the tranny mount and yes it does have long tube headers but those are not the culprit either. I am thinking it might be the pinion angle and alos mention by BMR fab. when i had to talke to them about my trak pak torque arm. A friend mentioned today that it could be the rear end. Now, the rear end is in bad shape and on its last leg. It has so much play in it and howls like crazy. Do you think with the rear end being so bad it would cause it to vibrate like that?
