B&M torque converters any good?

I guess I didnt research this enough but what are everyones views of B&M converters? I was wondering because I am having problems with my set up and I think it might be a factor here is the thread if you want details.

Just thought after I started this thread it probably belongs in drivetrain tech so, if the mods want to move it thats cool.

i dont know about overdrive trannys but in my old t-350 i went to a precision eng and dropped almost .3. the b&m's are not very efficient.

never dyno'd it but the sotp test stated yes. it felt like a different car and was actually a little easier to drive around town. it was a 3600stall and i changed to the pe that was a 3600 and it was a big increase

The comeback ratio on B&M's is one of the highest in the TC business. Stay away from them. Do yourself a favor & do a search on TC comebacks/problems etc. Remember, if the TC goes away, it takes the transmisison with it.

Had a 2400 Holeshot in my car. Lasted 1 month and litterally blew something up inside. Screwed my trans up when it happened. B&M would not stand behind it either. I will never buy ANYTHING from B&M again. Just my 2 cents

I appeciate the replies the B&M is coming out and a vigante is going in as soon as I come up with $700
