B&M Ripper + D&D Tranny
B&M Ripper + D&D Tranny
Last year, i replaced my ailing stock T-56 with a new D&D Performance T-56 with the 30 spline upgrade.
I had a B&M Ripper shifter on the old tranny, and it worked out quite well. I wanted to put it on the new D&D Tranny, but both B&M and D&D told me not to, so i haven't.
I was just wondering why that would be? If the new tranny is supposed to be a bolt in replacement, why can't the shifter be used? I'm not going to press my luck and try and put it in, i'm just curious. Is it due to the 30 spline upgrade, or are they both fibbing at me and trying to save liability for any subsequent failure?
