axle install?

how hard is it to install a new axle? one of mine is bent. it is a 95 rear end, no traction control. ive searched a lot and i know how to take out the bolt, push the axle towards the differential, take out the c clip, but then im confused. i just pull the axle out? what happens to the bearing and the seal?

Re: axle install?

Bearing and seal stay in the axle... you've got the steps exactly right, once the clip is out, the axle just pulls right out.
