AutoZone, O'reily's, Adavanced Auto
Do all these carry the Lt4 PP in their clutch packages? I know the Autozone PP is an lt4, but what about O'reilys and Adavanced? I'm asking b/c the Autozone clutch kit is about $279 whereas the other to stores have it for around $195. -Thanks- Brad
I bought clutches from Autozone and Kragen, and found they are the same thing
Autozone : "Cumberland" clutch 279.99 (LT4 PP, LT1 disc)
Kragen : "Perfection Hytest" clutch 198.99 (LT4 PP, LT1 disc)
All parts were clearly stamped "Valeo" and were identical.
I think Kragen is the same as advance auto.
Hope this helps,
adam

Check the friction disk. Mine was different from one to another. The first one I installed was a Valeo disk and the second was a Raybestos.
Just another thing to consider. Personally I liked the one I have in now.

im on my 3rd AZ clutch in a year!they all were valeo, and i have broke the disk both time's!and both time's they have snaped in 5th gear!and just so you know the AZ clutch(valeo)is the same as the SLP clutch except for the hole's drilled in thr PP,right down to the #'s stamped on the disk!and i don't run any power adder,or have a stroker.just a few basic mod's,freebe's,cai,catback,coil,ect..
