Question auto over 6speed

i just want to know wut u guys have to say bad or good about a auto or a manual. cus my fraind is selling me a 94 z28 auto 98k clean but i have only had manual tranys and realy dont like autos but i want the car anything u have to say will help thenks

It depends on your personal preference and what you will use your car for. Manual is better for autocross, auto is better for drag. Auto is easier in stop and go, but manual is more fun on the road, and you can't beat 6th gear for mileage.

i was in the same boat as you a few months ago. I came across a 98 SS auto car for a good price long story short see my sig. I still would love a 6 speed but i honestly am not hating the auto actually it has its advantages. It is eaiser to line up and i cut better reactions and the car is consistant. If the price is right i say go for it unless you just have to have a 6 spd. Also me having knee replacement on my left knee it is a nice not to have to clutch no more.
