Anyway to prevent rear end problems?

Is there anyway to prevent a trashed rear-end? I'm afraid whenever I finally get my car back together, running drag radials it will destroy the rear end. Any good prevenitive meaures?

Power break before a launch. It will take the sudden shock off the driveline. Other than that dont beat on it.

With an A4 your more likely to trash the tranny than the rearend. It's the shock of a clutch dump on a M6 that breaks rears (with sticky tires).

Yes, stop using drag radials on the street.

I'm kind of in your boat

Just when your launching, make sure you stall it up, and dont just punch the throttle like said above...Your rear end can last a long time on an Auto if launched right..

I also bought a rear-end girdle, which will help a bit
