Anything needed to do to a street twin before installing?

Anything needed to do to a street twin before installing?

brand new street twin, with a freshly rebuilt T56 with a steel flywheel. Anything need to be done to it ?

Have the whole unit balanced together and then you should be able to put it in. Some people say it isn't necessary to balance it but Mcleod says too and its better to be safe than sorry.

Read all the directions BEFORE starting.

Yes, read the directions and make sure you have a good gauge to measure the disk clearance, Lock tight and a torque wrench

I didn't balance mine and I didn't read it in the directions. It seems to be perfect but who knows. When I called them Mcleod told me you need the weight for a regular LT1 and to take the weight off for a internal balanced LT1 and maybe have that balanced.
