Here's a news flash for you guys...

If you're bent on taking your track car down the street, this may be the answer. Just look under the spec clutches for their optional stuff. It's even more expensive but it may be what you're looking for.

I looked at the stage 3f but is has a sprung hub (i had springs break out in the past) holds less power then the stage five and cost more. drove mine last night then got stuck in bumper to bumper trafic behind a wreck then i stared to rain. I drove it to work in rush hour today. there is no reason you can not drive this clutch every day.

I suppose anything is better than my trashed stock clutch but I wouldn't want to have to drive a stage 5 around town, regardless of how well other people seem to do with it.

Re: anyone have a SPEC stage V?

why would you say you would not drive a stage 5 regardless of how well other people do with it? Did you drive a stage 5 and did not feel comfortable with it? I bought the clutch becasue i am in a situation where i only have to drive the car as much as i want to. it's not my daily driver. So if the clutch was teribble to drive i could live with it. not sure why you would make a statment like that.

Well if I could drive it when I want it it might be different, but for now my car is my daily driver, plus I deal with traffic in Chicago. If I did put a stage 5 in my car I would probably end up taking it back out. Plus, even with the upgrades I'm doing this spring I won't be making enough power to overwhelm a stage 4- or if I do I'm sure my rear end will break before the clutch does.
