I know the tailshaft housing is different and I could probably use one off of an fbody. The tailshaft is also supposedly .950" or so shorter and I was wondering how much yoke/outputshaft engagement there is on a stock setup. And if an inch less would be "bad"?

Thanks for any help!

7 year update lol... I made a transmission mount for it and it works fine. It's from an 87 vette, that I traded a 12 pack of bud light for!

It has also held up to 10s of thousands of miles of abuse behind a 3600 stall and a 370hp/350tq GM847 setup.
