Anyone with a 9 inch and 3.90 Gears, your help please

Ok my question to anyone running 3.90 gears is do you have noticeable gear wine?

I installed my 9 inch about a year and a half ago. I purchased a Moser housing and had a center section from a local salvage yard setup for Moser 3.90 gears and a Moser spool. I did the break in properly but the gears wined from day one and did not change after mileage was put on.

I got fed-up with the manners of the spool on the street and got a Detroit tru trac. I decided to get new gears and have them setup by a reputable shop. I called Randy's ring and pinion and had them send me a new set of 3.90 gears and bearing kit. Excited to try the new setup out only to find the exact same gear wine at the same speeds I have since drove the car about 2000 miles to see if wearing the gears would change it but no such luck.

Anyone else running this gear ratio and have a quiet rear? Thanks for the info guys.
