Re: ACC Performance? Stall converter

I ordered one about a year ago from them.

I done a ton of research on them. Not many people have used them. I found very few, if any, negative feedback on their converters. Of course I did get a lot of people saying that you get what you pay for. That may be true, but it is not always and some people just cant put $900 into a custom converter.

Having said that, I ordered a 30 spline lock-up converter for a 700r4. 2400 stall and 10" diameter. Long story short it would not go on my trans. Not my fault. I tried everything, even tried other converters. I sent it back to them, they told me they would take it apart and check it. I was told by them that nothing was the wrong and that everything fit their mock-ups. However when I got it back it slid right on my transmission. I dont see how that would be possible unless something was wrong earlier and they fixed it.

Customer service was pretty good. They done okay for the situation. When all was said and done I had my converter and it works great.

Not sure if I will try them again in the future or not. They made things right, but I just wish they would have fessed up if they did infact find something wrong. Guess I will never know.
