Hi,
I am in the process of doing an A4 to T56 convertion using my A4 wireing harness. What mods do i need to do to the A4 harness to make it work with the T56? I am kindof new the 4th gen f-body sceen but I am no rookie. What do I do about the revurse lock-out, and the nutral safefy switch. I wanna keep all this intact for a clean, very nice swap. Please help, I trying to get my car back on the road befor next weekend. Thanks a million.

heres what you do... Cut off the connector.. then take the to large guage wires i forgot what color they are and plice them together and run them to your clutch pedal.. as far as the reverse lock out you have a few options you can (a) connect it to your brake pedal so it only works when the brake is applied or you can just leave it unplugged that waht i did i doesnt take much effort to get it into reverse at all... then as far as your reverse lights you have to fid the two wirs on the harness that operate it and splice them to gether then buy a plug from the dealer splice them together and run it to the the trans...hope that helps..

I was wandering if the VSS plug IS different. I have been told both it is and it isnt. Im still trying to get the pig tails, then my swap will begin. Thanks for all your help.
