Billy Graham is selling them for 2000$ now, I think Speed Automotive will sell for 1500, but . . . .

Last time I checked, no one had the stuff. These things are getting hard to find. And . . . .

Then you'll probably want a new performance clutch, and a quality shifter, so tack on another 5-600$. Then you may want to consider new clutch hydraulics, because you don't want those parts to fail ruining a high priced clutch, so add another 200$. Then add ~200 for incidentals.

It is a pricey swap. It is not really complex. I am getting near done mine, and I don't have any regrets, but I own the car outright, it is getting to the point where it isn't worth a whole pile of money anymore, and I intend to get into tracking more seriously, so it made sense for me. It probably doesn't make sense for someone who just wants to add a bit of "fun factor."

If you're looking at getting into going to the track more, wouldn't you go with a more consistent, built auto? Or something with a reverse manual?

I should have been more clear: For track days on a road course and for lapping the M6 is my preference.

I just did this swap got it from lamberts salvage.. the kit was 1500 shipped then I bought a stock replacement clutch (for now) and a 5.0 shifter and ended up being right around $1900 for the whole install.. only took me a day and a half to do the whole swap..
