96, pretty stock, should I get 4.10's?
Hey guys. I am debating whether it is a good idea to get 4.10's in my fairly stock camaro. Will it make driving worse (having to change gears more)? How much acceleration increase may I see? I have lt's in my possesion and just need a Y pipe so don't make fun of my stock ***!

it will really be a kick in the butt down low...but you'll probably have traction issues
most guys say that 4.10s make 6th gear much more useable...depending on your area's driving "style" it may help mileage.
where i live i have to drive 2hrs to get to a highway with a speed limit more than 55mph. so i wouldn't mind being able t use 6th at 50-55mph instead of having to hold 5th so i don't bog down.

gears are good but plan ahead...are you going to build the motor? end up getting a stronger rear end? if so leave them stock, when you add a cam and n20 the gears will be passing fast...if you just want to make it your daily and quicker...id do exhaust electric waterpump mail order tune 1.6rr and n20
