Not exactly LT1 related, but can someone please tell me if a 4L60E out of a 95 Z28 can work with a 97 or 98 Chevy tahoe? I know it will bolt up in the truck but are there any PCM or harness issues involved in doing this? GM is pretty good at being standardized when it comes to SBC stuff, so I'm assuming this will work.

The reason I'm asking is my father has both 97 and 98 Tahoes for his business. Both have high miles and since i swapped out my A4 for an M6, the trans has just been sitting in the shop. If he can use it he'll buy it from me and keep it as a reserve.

Or if anyone on here needs one, let me know.
