94 rear end in my 95

im looking at buying a stock rear end with 4.10s out of a 94 Z28 for my car. not sure of the miles yet.

i have a question or two

the owner mentioned "3 channel", what does this mean?

is there ANY differences in the rear ends from 94 and 95? such as ABS or any other niddy griddy dime-you-to-death type stuff? (btw my car is NON-TCS)

will i need a tune to adjust my speedo or can a dealer or shop do that? (i currently have 3.42s)

if i think of more questions ill post them up

thanks

-Jon

If your car is non traction control, then you also have 3 channel ABS and will be 100% compatible.

3 channel ABS utilize sensors on both front wheels and the rear differential.
4 channel ABS (traction control cars) are the same for the front wheels but use a tone ring/sensor on each rear wheel, thus 4 channels.

Try www.pcmforless.com or www.madz28.com for speedo correction.

Yes, a dealer can do it, but they will charge you an arm and a leg. As mentioned above, use those sites for it and get a custom tune while you're at it. Well worth it IMHO.
