Will a trans from a 94 lt1 caprice go into a 94 z28? both are automatic

 

You will need the tail section from the Z-28 to install on the Caprice unit. While it is out I would add a Corvette servo, easy to do when the transmission is out. Replace the necessary seals and install a new Teflon extension bushing and Vamac rear seal.

 

what has to be done to change the tail section? Its going in one of my buddys cars and we dont want to do it twice
