I have a 94 formula with about 83K miles and an automatic tranny. Whenever I put the car in gear it jerks back and forth like it wants to go forward. But once I give it gas it is fine. It doesn't do this in neutral or park. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Sounds like when you put it in gear you feel some movement.. might be Driveline slack movement? If it's jerking back and forth, I'd check your transmission mount.
