is 94 4L60e a direct swap into a 97 Z28?

I am thinking about buying a transmission off the board, however it is out of a 94 Fbody. My car is a 97 with OBD1 computer. I know the bolt patterns are the same but I have searched and found mixed opinions on whether or not this works due to different electrical connectors. One guy says he has a 96 tranny in his 94 though.
So will it work? Or do I have to find a 95-97 4L60e?

Thanks,
Michael

I do know that the TCC lockup uses a different solenoid beginning in 1995. So at least this would have to be changed.
