my 93 auto trans am doesnt like to downshift when I mash the gas, I know this isnt the electronicly controlled tranny so is there anything I can do to fix this?

 

Yes, there is. But I need to know if you have done anything to the throttle body or any other maintainance lately. And no its not electronicly controlled.

 

Either the TV cable is misadjusted or a valve (in the valve body) is hanging up.

i kno wat u meen it seems like from past threads thats how the 93s are b/c i had the same problem with my old 93, at like anything over 25-30 mph it wouldnt downshift into first at wot, wheras my 94 alwayse feels like its in the rite gear. i dont think there is much u can do about it
